..tove jansson..

2014 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of one of our most beloved and well-known authors and illustrators, Tove Jansson. With her multifaceted life’s work, Tove Jansson (1914-2001) became one of the key artists in Finnish visual art during the postwar golden age of modernism.

We all have been to - or at least heard about - Moomin Valley where the really peculiar Moomins live. It is a world full of wonder and when you see the author’s own illustrations you get the feeling you belong there somehow… (Or it’s just me.)
